Drona: Movie Review

There are obvious advantages and disadvantages of watching first day first show , a pack of 6 went to fun republic to watch Drona which we chose over Kidnap . Advantage is I was on TV for this review

Story:
This one is supposed be a superhero movie with adventure and all probably that is the reason they never bothered to pay too much attention to story , Its just a fight between good and bad and an ageold formula of chasing a treasure or Amrut sort of stuff . There is no story !Anyways who needs a good story in superhero movie like Hancock..

Magic ( Special effect):
This is all one care about in such movies , very good special effect so that ur going to big screen is worth it , well that is also not a strong point in this movie. Some special effects here and there and that too of not much significance.

Action:
Another promise which this one does not fulfill action scenes are totally dull ( duller then those Tele serial super hero actions) , Army of villain has to wait so that super hero kills them one by one . By the way super hero does not kill too many , he is a resourceful guy in this movie and has many people to work for him. Priyanka and Abhishek both are very poor in action and do not leave any impact on screen.

Acting:
The best acting is done by the horse followed by Jaya ( a 3-4 minute role) then Kay Kay ( Atleast he did what director might have asked him to do look like a joker cum villain) then Priyanka . AB has not acted , Same expression on the face from start to end .

Songs :
OK kind of songs , however there was no need of putting them.

Costume:
People are wearing Rajasthani Dresses in the streets of London , beat that . Why can't they use normal costumes when they are showing abroad scenes. And yes they are also fighting with swords instead of new sophisticated weapons ( I guess inspiration from some of the chinese movies which show fight sequence with swords , but atleast they know how to fight....)

Overall:
A complete waste of time and money and a must No Watch , never in cinema hall . AB can never look like a super hero ( Atleast Hrithik does look like one) . Drona can not even beat Shaktimaan .
